What is measured
Aspirational Index (Example)
"Measures Aspirational Competitive Advantage".
Increasingly people are being regarded as the sole remaining source of sustainable competitive advantage. The Aspirational Index is a measure of a team leader's belief in the potential of people as the differentiating force in the growth of a business.
Measured against the current reality of the business (the 5 Entrepreneurial drivers below), the Aspirational Index provides the benchmark for performance improvement.
1. Leadership Index (Example)
"Measures capacity to Drive Strategy and Change".
The Leadership Index measures how well a company's vision for growth is being 'lived' by its leaders and its strategy translated to the people who must execute it, and is therefore a critical determinant of company performance. It reveals leadership strengths that can be further developed, and leadership deficits that impede a leader's influence on the performance of others and their capacity to drive change.
2. "H" Factor Index (Example)
"Measures Unique Competitive Differentiators".
The 'H' Factor Index defines the potential of a person/team to make a unique impact on a business's growth. It is a measure of the deep-seated performance drivers within a person/team and the extent of their creative and purposeful engagement in delivering a unique brand of impact to customers and the business.
3. Risk & Reward Index (Example)
"Measures Competitive Alignment & Motivation"
The Risk / Reward Index measures the extent to which an organisation shares in the risk and reward (the potential upside and downside) of the enterprise in which it is engaged and therefore, the underlying motivation for competitive performance and innovative drive. It is the relative measure of the total monies at stake (the potential financial upside and downside) between the providers of Financial Capital and Human Capital.
4. Innovation Index (Example)
"Measures on New Revenue & Margins".
The Innovation Index measures the innovative intensity within an organisation and therefore its focus on creating new income and margin streams by creating new products and processes, and by improving existing ones.
5. Customer Impact Index (Example)
"Measures Focus on Sustainable Growth".
The Customer Impact Index measures a team's overall focus on growing its business by impacting its customers (internal or external). It also reflects the extent to which leadership, the 'H' Factor, risk and reward, and innovation are drivers of team performance by defining and prioritising the issues that are impeding customer focus, and that need to be addressed.
